Lauren introduces herself as a professional pet sitter and owner of The Pet Lady, Ltd. She talks about being a pet parent to two Calico cats, Phoebe and Regina and dog mom to Jack Russel/Beagle Mix, Sassy.
Pros and cons of using a hobby sitter, there is a convenience of using a friend or neighbor. There is also a disadvantage due to most likely they are doing you a favor. They may not be as reliable as you would want for your pet.
Pros and cons of using an app sitter, such as Rover or Wag. Along with app sitters you can find some professionals on these apps along with some other wonderful sitters. No matter where you find your pet sitter, make sure to vet them to ensure your pet receives the care you want for them.
Pros of using a professional pet sitter. Most professional pet sitting companies use apps or portals similar to app sitters. This gives clients all the conveniences with the bonus of hiring a professional. Professional pet sitters often provide more peace of mind than just pet care for clients, giving your home a lived in look while you are away.
