When deciding when to spay or neuter your dog there are many things you need to take into account, such as the size, breed, and your individual dog. A breeder or your veterinarian can be a great sound board when deciding when the best time to spay/neuter would be for your pet.

As responsible pet owners, we need to make sure we help to curb the population of pets in shelters and stray pets and the best way we are able to do this is to spay and neuter. Helping to slow the population of pets that end up in shelters or on the street, also help to decrease euthanizations.
